Military Bcg - GI glasses are glasses issued by the US military to its service members. Slanders for them include the more common "contraceptive glasses" (BCG) and other variations. At one point, they were officially referred to as regulatory prescription glasses (RPG). This was commonly said to mean "rape prevention glasses" due to its sleek appearance. Similar (metal-free) glasses may be issued to inmates in state and federal prisons.
The original version was designed for use with gas masks during WWII. It had a wire frame with cable temples and a "P3" L shape. The design was a modification of the style used by the British Army.

I love the frames, but it ships with the arms and front frame separately and no hardware for assembly. I'll have to buy the right screws and get out my small screwdriver to turn them into a full frame set. But, the quality is excellent, and they are brand new.
